Friday morning, I dropped the kiddos off at school and then drove off to McAllen (the *big* city 45 minutes away) and I got my hair cut!! I tried out a new salon, and was quite happy with the results -- too bad I don't have the patience to actually dry/straighten my hair so that it looks like this every day ;) Hubby was nice enough to pick the kiddos up from school so I had an entire afternoon to wander Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, and Pier 1. Bliss.On Saturday morning, we loaded up and headed off for a couple hours at the beach. I love that we're close enough that we can just pop over when our schedule allows, rather than making a long trek and then feeling like we have to stay all day to make it worthwhile.
Our Sunday was blessedly mundane - church & then household duties. No sickness, no scrambling to get something completed. Such a wonderful gift!

Beautiful haircut!!! You can tell that you have lost weight just looking at your face! Way to go!!! Morgan talks about Angelina all the time! She wants her to come for her birthday :-) Miss you!
