We saw the flamingos right when we walked in, and our daughter excitedly announced that her shirt matched them! :) The kids loved seeing the baby orangutan right there. They also had a neat exhibit with native plants, butterflies, and hummingbirds that I loved. And aren't those cement "trees" absolutely hysterical?! We had a lot of fun, but it was HOT (as evidenced by our son's neck in the 3rd pic) so are looking forward to going back when it cools down a bit. We went ahead and purchased an annual membership, as our kids are at a good age for repeated visits, so you can rest assured that there will be additional animal fun in our future!

That tree is something else! There is an equally strange and bizarre concrete tree standing in the middle of nowhere in Utah along the highway. Weird. Hope you are having a good week and finding a little bit more settled.
