A few shots of the kiddos from yesterday - we had a very nice celebration at church, then a low key day at home. By the way, I found a book at the library that I'd recommend for grade school kids: On That Easter Morning. It ends with a great line: The dark power of death was defeated. God's own love lit the world on that Easter Morning.

This year's Resurrection Day remembrance just totally passed us by...We weren't even able to attend our church service:( I can't believe that the holiday is over...We totally missed out...
That just reminds me how the things of this earth quickly passes away, but heavenly things last forever. Although the Easter Holiday is over, there is no reason why Jesus' death and resurrection shouldn't be remembered every day. Christ's death and resurrection is the heart of the gospel message, a message we should celebrate daily and be thankful for...
Anyway, thanks for allowing me to blabber away. Easter is my favorite holiday, even over Christmas, and I'm sad that it just totally passed us by...So, I just needed to vent...I didn't even realize Easter was over until I visited here...
